Lauren at a Biblical Exposition Workshop for Women in 2019.

TOPICS:

I am happy to teach from any passage of the Bible.

I am also able to teach topically, and have provided some examples below:
+ God’s heart for the nations
+ theology of suffering (“Why does God allow this to happen?”)
+ finding gospel hope and human dignity in chronic illness
+ keeping an eternal perspective for uncertain futures
+ biblical sexuality and gender & how do we talk to our kids about this
+ how to help kids grow in biblical literacy
+ how to study the Bible or what is the Bible

BIO:

Lauren is a Bible teacher and book editor, and a former women’s ministry coordinator and missionary. With more than a decade of ministry experience, she is passionate about biblical literacy and helping women see how every page of Scripture points to Christ. She has seen God’s faithfulness through chronic illness, overseas ministry, and daily life as a mom to two kids, ages 13 and 9.

Her family has roamed the world, from tropical islands on the equator to the winter wonderland of Canada, before settling down on a family ranch in North Texas.

Lauren holds an Associate’s Degree in Biblical Studies and a Bachelor’s in Intercultural Ministries. She has also studied at Heritage College & Seminary, Texas Baptist College, and Charles Simeon Trust.
