The Bible is not only one of the most beautiful pieces of literature, but it contains words of life. Sometimes we are caught up in our daily routines and reading and forget about the beauty and goodness that Scripture holds. Fish Coin Press has crafted five individual books of the Bible that allow us to read God’s Words with fresh eyes in a different format that is attractive to new readers and old. They have excelled at creating beautiful artwork to create a dynamic reading experience.
Jonah: Mercy Unfathomed
Ruth: Under the Wings of Refuge
John: Come See a Man
Peter: Reason for the Hope (The Letters of Peter)
Malachi: Like a Refiner’s Fire
Kings: With the Wisdom to Rule

Formatted into accessible and easy-to-carry paperbacks, these books of the Bible are laid out more like a magazine. Interspersed through the text are fantastic drawings that illustrate and highlight different portions of the biblical story. What I love about these Fish Coin Press editions is that it reads like a story. There are not any verse numbers to break up the narrative or distract us from the words we are reading. The illustrations also complement well and capture the emotions and tone of the text well.

I read through Johah: Mercy Unfathomed first, and sparked such an interest in the story that it led me into a deep and rich study of the book of Jonah. Each Bible book contains a simple yet helpful introduction and usually a map and notes on the text. The Bible translation used is the World English Bible, which is in the public domain.

Fish Coin Press also released several sets of Biblical Trading Cards, which are so much fun. My son picked them up and was enamored by them. Each card represents a keyword from a passage, including the Greek definition and other places where it can be found in Scripture. The cards feature fantastic illustrations and are designed to be collectible trading cards.
Overall, I was so delighted with these illustrated Bible books, which also caught the interest of my pre-teen son. These would make great gifts to hand out to neighbors, friends, or at youth group events. Fish Coin Press also has bulk discounts for those wanting to use them for ministry.

I received these books from Fish Coin Press in exchange for an honest review.
