This beautifully illustrated board book from Danielle Hitchen and Catechesis Books, captures the emotions during the events leading up to Easter Sunday.
Each page spread of Holy Week highlights a different emotion found in a scene, but is placed along with a paraphrase of direct quote from Scripture. Together they beautifully and simply tell the Easter story.
The board book begins with Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, includes Jesus washing the disciples’ feet, his trial, crucifixion, resurrection, and ends with the Great Commission.
This is probably one of my favorite books from Catechesis Books so far!
